We have £16,000 for students who have made the most of their time at university and clubs/societies who have improved over the last year. Winners will enjoy national press coverage and unbeatable CV prestige, as well as making a real difference to a project you’re passionate about.

The competition recognises and awards the achievements of students across four categories:

  • Most Improved Club or Society £5,000 prize
  • Student Entrepreneur £5,000 prize
  • Most Socially Responsible Student £5,000 prize
  • Biggest Contribution to University £1,000 prize

The Real World Awards 2008 are the awards for students, decided by students. Your peers will determine which entries are good enough to go through to the final round and win a place at the prestigious awards ceremony. Here atReal World Magazine we want to celebrate students with the ability to look beyond the confines of their degree. Previous winners of the competition have been featured in national newspapers which include The Evening Standard, The Guardian and The Independent; regional newspapers and local BBC radio.
