UKSF V2 - Judgement Day

18.08.2007 | UK Student Films Editorial

UK Student Films is proud to unveil the new look website for www.ukstudentfilms.co.uk. After 18 months of hard work and dedication on the part of the UK Student Films design team, the website now more closely reflects the spirit that UK Student Films was built upon.

Matt Capon, Director of Communications for UK Student Films said about the new website launch & what it means for the group:

“With the new website in place, we can all take a great deal of pride and satisfaction that after 18 months worth of hard work, blood sweat and beers we now have a website which is a greater reflection of the service we aim to provide student filmmakers. This is as much of a fresh start for UK Student Films as it is a statement of intent of our plans for the future.”

After conceiving the idea of a new website design 18 months ago, as well as being the thrust of creative endeavour which has driven UK Student Films to the point where it finds itself today, Adam Maidment Creator and Director of UK Student Films said about the new website:

“It's a clean cut and more professional design taking the feel and ethos from and old site to express UKSF's move towards providing a more refined service for student and independent film makers. UK Student Films has grown up from being a rebelloius pimply teenager to a more refined, smooth talking business man.”

When www.ukstudentfilms.co.uk first launched the notion of online videos & user generated content was in its infancy, but as we stand today in the era of youtube and the empowerment of the individual to reach a potential global audience, the move to a new website underlines the fact that UK Student Films remains the front-runner for student films online.
