We have 3 new films for you to feast your eyes on by budding directors Anne Wilkins, Matthew Carter and Shao Xin Ying.
“Sun in the Night Time” by Anne Wilkins is an excellent short animation depicting the anguish of a mother waiting for the return of her lost son.
Matthew Carter's “Picture House Girls” is a deep chamber play set within an old derelict cinema. Strong theme but contains no scenes of a sexual nature.
Finally the long awaited film “Disconnect” by Shao Xin Ying, explores the relationship between a single mother and her daughter and how a new man in their lives leaves their relationship in tatters.
